My name is Norb Janke and I have been on staff at TCC since March of 2009, first as Associate Pastor and now as Lead Pastor (since February of 2019). My joy at TCC is to serve with a fantastic team of staff and Elders, together setting the direction for the church. I have the privilege of preaching, leading, shepherding and administrating. My desire is to guide the church so that we focus on mission and keep our hearts in tune with our vision. The simplicity of “know, walk, and share Jesus” resonates deeply with me, as that is the desire for my life. And really, what can be better than seeing people walking passionately with Jesus in order to joyfully serve others?
Born and raised in Edmonton, I attended the University of Alberta and then Edmonton Baptist Seminary (now Taylor Seminary), graduating in 1992. I served as an Associate Pastor (Youth) in Calgary and as a Senior Pastor in Ontario, before coming “home.” My wife, Tina, is from Cleveland, Ohio (married in 1994) and we have two young adult children, Lucas and Anna (1998 and 2000). We enjoy hanging out as a family, playing games and watching movies (although they will say that I sleep through most of them). I enjoy home projects, including figuring out how to fix something that is broken (isn’t that what YouTube is for?), and following and watching sports.

My name is Adam Buyer and I have served as a pastor at TCC since the summer of 2017. My current role at TCC has me working in the areas of adult discipleship ministries, and preaching/teaching. I love being part of the TCC team and witnessing individuals grow in their love for Jesus and their community as they see the many ways God’s story intersects with theirs.
I graduated in 2014 from SAIT with a Ticket in Carpentry before going to Prairie College to receive a bachelors of Arts in Pastoral Ministry. In 2021 I completed my Masters of Divinity from Taylor Seminary.
My wife Jalene and I were married in 2008 and have two daughters, Elisabeth (2018), Hallie (2020), and our son, Jack (2022). As a couple we love ministering together through music and speaking. We started a music ministry called “Elsa and Foster” in 2013 and continue to work to put words together in ways that encourage others. I greatly enjoy spending time with my family, going for a run, and reading a book while sipping on a cup of coffee.

My name is Steve McComish and I joined the TCC team in May of 2022. My role at TCC has me involved in the areas of people and buildings. I have a heart for people and love to see them connected to one another, walking together in community as they grow closer to Jesus. I also have the pleasure of ensuring our facilities are maintained and the roof doesn't collapse on their heads while doing so.
I graduated in 2011 from Peace River Bible Institute with a Bachelor of Religious Education in Christian Ministries and a Sports Ministry Minor. I like sports.
My wife, Amanda, and I were married in 2009 and have four children (daughters Lynnea; 2012 and Maelyn; 2014 and sons Lincoln; 2016 and Tytus; 2021). As a couple we love ministering together through inviting people into our home for a fantastic meal (not to toot my own horn...Amanda is the cook) as well as sports and other outdoor activities. Personally, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing baseball, hockey, and golf, going for the opposite of a run, and sipping on a cup of coffee.

Hey, my name is Quinn Pereverseff and I joined the TCC team in September of 2017. It’s my privilege to work with the students as their youth pastor. I have had a heart for student ministry for a very long time, in fact it was back when I was in youth that I first heard God’s calling on my life for this ministry. I pursued this calling through attending Prairie College and I graduated in 2013.
Terwillegar Community Church and Edmonton quickly became home for my wife and I when we moved from southern Alberta. We love the city and its people and we are so excited about being apart of what God is doing at TCC. My wife Lara and I met attending a youth conference back when we were teenagers and we got married in 2013, 1 day after graduating college. We enjoy many different activities such as playing board games, going to the museum, escape rooms, and doing new and exciting things.
My favourite part of my job is getting to build authentic relationships with our students, leaders, and their families. It’s a joy when we see our students come to know Jesus and walk out their faith more. It is my desire to see us live in authentic community as we pursue Jesus in our everyday life.
